Our Shredder security levels range from low to high risk, depending on the type of security you are looking for.
With the introduction of the POPI Act. It is necessary for all institutions to conduct themselves in a responsible manner when processing, storing and collecting and sharing another entity's personal information by holding them accountable should they abuse or compromise your personal information in any way.
Choosing a Shredder
When choosing a shredder, it is important to look at the following criteria:
Certain shredders can handle more than just paper; for example, diskettes, compact discs, cardboard or credit cards can also be shredded
Size: Most shredders can only handle paper up to legal size.
Quality: The quality of the paper shredder and warranty is important. How long will it hold up in the long term and is the motor strong?
Security: Most shredders are referred to as straight cut. This can protect information from casual perusal, though it is often not enough for the privacy concerns of a business. Documents that are cut into uniform strips may be reassembled given enough effort and time.
Volume: It needs to be estimated how many sheets needs to be shredded per day and how many sheets the shredder should be able to handle at a time.
Security Levels
Low Security: Strip Cut: Suitable for home use.
Medium Security: Cross cut which falls withing a 3.9mm x
50mm shredding range. This is very small and difficult to piece back together.
High Security: Cross cut pattern which falls within a 1.9mm
x 15mm shredding range. This is one of the smallest cutting patterns used by
non-government / military organizations.

When will delivery take place?
Our delivery team is ready to pack and deliver your order as soon as payment confirmation and required supporting documents such as TV License validation are received.
What if I miss my delivery?
We will make sure to give you a call and reschedule as soon as possible.
What if my items are damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered?
Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of delivery on 0800 111 081 or everyshop@jdg.co.za. We will do our best to have the damaged product collected and a new product delivered to you. For more details view our returns and refunds policy.
What if I receive the incorrect items or quantity of products?
Mistakes do happen, should you experience this please notify us immediately so that we can get our team to assist you. You can notify us on 0800 111 081 or everyshop@jdg.co.za and we will arrange to collect the incorrect items and replace them as soon as possible.
What about Returns & Refunds?
If you are not absolutely in love with your new purchase you may return or exchange your products subject to producing the original receipt and ensuring the product is in its original packaging and condition.
